School Assemblies
Friday afternoons at 2:45pm
Venue: School hall
We warmly invite families to join us for our regular school assemblies held on Fridays (unless otherwise communicated). Our first assembly for 2026 will be on Friday 6th March.
Moama PS Swimming Carnival - Year 2 to Year 6 students
Friday 13th February
Venue: Moama Outdoor Pool corner of Blair St & Francis St, Moama
The carnival will commence at approximately 9.45 am.
The students will walk to and from the pool and return to school in time for regular bus pickups in the afternoon.
Primary staff will be available to supervise and run the event. However it would be very helpful to have parent helpers on hand to support the running of the carnival and support and encourage the swimmers on the day.
Please bring extra sunscreen, a protective shirt and a hat in addition to the usual swimwear and towel. Students are also required to take their recess, lunch and sufficient water for the day. Canteen facilities will NOT be available at the pool.
Please note that whilst students will be supervised by teachers at the pool they are personally responsible for applying their own sunscreen during the day.
If your child has not been to a carnival before or hasn’t been to the Moama pool it would be beneficial for them to be familiar with the venue so it would be appreciated if you would consider an after school or weekend outing before the day.
