Events

School events bring learning to life and help shape our school culture. They help students build confidence, connect with others and celebrate their progress. Events also give families a chance to be involved in school life and share in their child’s achievements.

Our school events may include:

School orientation days *sports carnivals - athletics, cross-country, swimming, basketball, football are among the many held *open days and school tours * Harmony week and Book Week * Naidoc Week celebrations * Easter parades * excursions and incursions * performances, concerts or school productions * award assemblies * fundraising, charity and community events * Mothers day and Fathers day celebrations * Kindergarten 100 Days of School * graduation and other celebrations.

Term Dates for students at Moama Public School. We have an alternative calendar that ties in with both NSW and Victorian school dates.

Term 1 - Wednesday 4th February to Thursday 2nd April.

Term 2 - Wednesday 22nd April to Friday 26th June.

Term 3 - Tuesday 14th July to Friday 18th September.

Term 4 - Tuesday 6th October to Thursday 17th December.

School Assemblies

Fortnightly Friday afternoons at 2:45pm
Venue: School hall

We warmly invite families to join us for our regular school assemblies held fortnightly. Check your Schoolbytes calendar for further dates.

The next assembly will be held on Friday 5th June in Term 2.

TERM 2

Years 3 and 4 Swimming Lessons

Swimming lessons for the Year 3 and Year 4 classes will be held from Monday 11th May to Friday 22nd May, not including our Cross Country day.

Celebrate National Reconciliation Week - "All In"

Monday 25th May to Wednesday 3rd June

Smoking ceremony - Tuesday 26th May at 10am

Reconciliation Walk - Friday 29th May for Year 3-6 students. Younger students may attend with their parents meeting us at Alton Reserve by 10am.

Reconciliation Celebrations - parents and carers are invited to come along and join us in activities on Wednesday 3rd June. We will be having a BBQ lunch on the day.
